EXTINCTION REBELLION
BACK PAGE ADVERT FOR THE DRUM

At the end of 2019 Rankin was invited to guest edit an issue of The Drum. As part of the creative team we got to throw a lot of ideas at all the different articles and interviews that would make up the final issue.

The issues theme was called "Sell Me The Truth" and each execution within the publication had this at its heart.
​
One of the partners we collaborated with was Extinction Rebellion, giving them a space within the issue to tell us the truth about the environmental crisis we are in the middle of.
​
We created, developed and shot this advert for the back page of the magazine to highlight to the ad industry the value of awards in a world that is speeding towards environmental oblivion. How important are they, and the work created for them, if you don't have a world to celebrate them in?
